Welcome to the very first edition of the Mechayeh Moments! This is a space to keep friends, family, fans, and all sentient beings updated on what’s happening with MECHAYEH!
Since our launch in May 2024, MECHAYEH has had quite a ride. We went from working with one amazing grower that helped us launch our variety packs, to working with twenty farmers from across Vermont! These farmers are working hard to keep Vermont kind, folks! We are so grateful for all of these collaborations, and we attribute much of our success to them. We are also grateful to the rad retail partners that we have in over 25 shops! We love bopping around and checking out all of the different vibes that the retailers offer. It’s a fun Saturday activity if you like a roadtrip. If you have never been to a dispensary before and are curious, feel free to reach out to us with any questions! Melissa was a budtender for two years and knows how to make the customer’s experience relaxed, confident, and fun. It is deeply important to us that people who are new to cannabis have a good first experience. We want you to love the plant as much as we do!
In more fun news, this July we launched a new product called the “Chai Pack” (pronounced HIGH Pack) which is a beautiful amber glass jar with 18 half gram prerolls. The number 18 is a powerful spiritual number in Yiddish culture meaning vitality and a wish for a long and healthy life!

MECHAYEH (muh-HIGH-yuh): Yiddish for “Ahhh… this is living.” It’s that unexpected rush of joy that wakes you up to the present moment. Our mission? To help awaken more of those in our lives and yours!

This Month’s Unexpected Delight for David: Medellin by Uncle Wayne’s
This strain is in our next pack and for good reason! I tried it out on a 1.5 hour long Christmas morning X-Country ski on a beautiful snowy day and it was PERFECT! A mix of chill body and clear mind made for great conversation and helped with all the huffing and puffing. If you haven’t checked out Uncle Wayne's Finest, we are BIG fans! This Month’s Unexpected Delight for Melissa: Mandarin Cookies by Great Hill Growers
This cultivar not only tasted citrusy and sweet, the energy that I received from it gave me the motivation to clean out my closet–a chore I’d been putting off for an embarrassing amount of time–and it was actually an enjoyable experience! Polo and Pan definitely kept me groovin’ along, and afterwards I chilled on my bed and wrote in my journal…Don’t let the 16% THC fool you, this strain brings the energy and creativity, and it’s delicious flavor makes you feel like you’re smoking pure sunshine! I loved this happy sun-grown strain from one of our newest collaborations, Great Hill Growers. (Hint: it’s going to be in next month’s lineup, so stay tuned!) Over the years we have had so many folks talk to us about their own Mechayeh Moments–those unexpected delights that awaken you to the beauty of this Life. From chance meetings of old friends at a farmer’s market in upstate New York; to a street corner shout out for our streetwear; to orange sunsets of epic proportions; to a night of unexpected “fun”, we love hearing them all!
